Diver Training Courses at the Professional Diving Academy

About the Professional Diving Academy

Industry Demands for Diver Training Courses

Professional divers with proven skills and proven competence is what the industry has said it requires. The Professional Diving Academy is working with education establishments to provide diver training courses that are certificated with nationally recognised vocational qualifications in many diving subjects.

The Professional Diving Academy is an independent UK HSE approved establishment offering diver training courses to novice and experienced divers based in Dunoon Scotland to satisfy the expectations and standards the Diving Industry of the 21st century requires.

Diver training courses offered include PADI training for scuba diving standards leading to the HSE approved Professional Scuba qualification that is required by all professional divers who extend their work underwater including media film makers, actors and presenters, archaeologists, marine biologists, oceanographers and inspection engineers.

The Academy offers HSE approved Diver training courses for deep air diving to 50 metres/165 feet in depth from a wet-bell and is working with the IDSA (International Diving Schools Association) to incorporate their syllabus to offer worldwide crossover training.

Specialist professional diving courses are being constantly developed in response to industry demand for 'proof of competency' in a variety of diving and underwater subjects - please see the additional information on the website.
