The Professional Diving Academy

The Academy was established following frustration within the industry at the apparent lack of skills newly qualified divers have with tools, rigging, cutting and welding tasks. Our courses have been designed to include assessments in these essential skills which, although not required by law as part of the HSE diver approval, are most definitely required from a working diver and the employer.

Diver Training

The Academy offers HSE approved diver training from scuba to deep air diving from a wet-bell. Saturation diver training may also be run in the future dependant upon customer demand.

Basic Scuba (as a separate course or as an introduction to Professional Scuba)

We offer PADI training for scuba diving standards. It should be made clear that this is not a professional qualification but is useful as a stand alone sport diving qualification which is recognised worldwide, or as an assessment and training exercise before starting a professional course. It is not mandatory to attend this before attending the Professional scuba course for those already with recognised sport diving qualifications.
